Transfer Allowance

Every time a document is viewed by a visitor to your site the relevant files must be transferred to the visitors browser, your transfer allowance is the total amount of data transfer your account is allocated per month.

A typical web page including pictures averages around 50 Kilobytes, from this you can work out approximately how many page views per month your account is able to serve :

Entry or Student - 500MB = approximately 10,000 page views per month.

Personal or Graduate - 3GB = approximately 60,000 page views per month.

Virtual or Professor - 7GB = approximately 140,000 page views per month.

If you exceed your allowance for a particular month your site will not stop serving pages, however if your usage exceeds your allowance by a significant amount you may be asked to pay for 'overages' at the rate of $4 per GB.
